Account Deletion
This page explains how Plixy users can request deletion of their account and the data linked to that account.
How to request account deletion
If you can access your Plixy account, open the app settings and use the account deletion option when available.
If you cannot access your account, send a deletion request to [email protected] from the email address linked to your Plixy account. Include your username and write that you want to delete your Plixy account.
Data deleted
Account deletion is intended to remove the account profile and personal account data, including email address, username, password credentials, profile information, privacy settings and active session data.
Content linked to the account, such as posts, stories, comments, media, messages, notifications and live location shares, is deleted or anonymized according to the technical deletion rules implemented by Plixy.
Data that may be retained
Plixy may retain limited technical, legal, security, abuse-prevention or accounting records when required by law or needed to protect the service.
Some backup copies can remain for a limited period before being overwritten by the normal backup cycle. These copies are not used to restore deleted accounts except where legally required.
Processing time
Deletion requests are reviewed as quickly as possible during the Alpha. We may ask for information needed to verify that the request comes from the account owner.
When deletion is completed, the account can no longer be restored.
