Child Safety Standards

Plixy is a social app. These standards explain how Plixy prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation, how users can report concerns, and how Plixy responds.

Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation

Plixy prohibits any content, behavior or account activity that creates, uploads, shares, requests, promotes, normalizes or facilitates child sexual abuse and exploitation.

This includes child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sexualized content involving minors, coercion, trafficking, attempts to obtain sexual images from minors, and any attempt to evade safety or moderation systems.

User reporting and safety tools

Users can report posts, comments, accounts or other safety concerns through the reporting tools available in Plixy. Users can also block or mute accounts to limit unwanted contact.

If an in-app report is not available for a specific case, users can contact Plixy at [email protected] and include the username, URL, content reference and a short description of the concern.

If a child is in immediate danger, users should contact local law enforcement or the relevant child protection authority first.

Review and enforcement

When Plixy obtains actual knowledge of suspected child sexual abuse material or child exploitation, Plixy reviews the report and takes appropriate action under these standards and applicable law.

Actions can include removing content, restricting features, suspending or deleting accounts, preserving relevant evidence where legally appropriate, and escalating confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children or the relevant regional authority when required.

Child safety point of contact

Google Play or child safety authorities can contact Plixy about child safety standards, CSAE prevention practices, moderation procedures and urgent child safety concerns at [email protected].

This contact is monitored by the developer responsible for Plixy compliance and can coordinate action on reports or policy notices.
